Recently I have spent some time with local charities and have learned  there is a real urgency to help families in need and hardship.

I have learned that local charities may help families with some utility bills or a medical bill, but it's a once-and-done donation.   There are a lot of other expenses that charities do not cover.

Even the basics are barely covered.  Food is actually hard to come by.  Food banks can supplement you when you are in life-saving mode but what about people with food allergies?  Individuals with food allergies (such as wheat, gluten, eggs, soy, dairy, meat) or medical conditions require special diets.  Their diet can be  difficult to maintain with limited resources and funds.  Often the food pantries do not carry these type of specialty items.

Can you imagine what it would be like if you could not feed your family?  Or pay for medical expenses or care?
What if you didn't have diapers for your child?  Or no soap to wash dishes or do laundry?  And also going through panic about feeding your beloved pets? 

It's not that charities don't care.  Charities have individual guidelines they need to meet.   Yet it's the family in need that is hit the hardest and often struggles.  Many of us just don't know, see or understand how difficult it can be for others.  Anytime there is loss, there is also suffering on some level.

I have set this page up to help a family very much in need of food and housing expenses.  No strings attached.
